Al Gore's New Boat - Solar Panels Being Installed - Fuel Efficient

Al Gore has a new boat and even it is green.

The boat is docked at Hurricane Marina on Center Hill Lake in Smithville, about 70 miles east of Nashville.

While it doesn't have solar panels yet, a spokesperson at Gore's office told News 2 they are scheduled to be installed Wednesday.

The boat is named Bio-Solar One and has been called the "Toyota Prius of boats", reportedly so efficient it only needs to be filled up with fuel once a year.

5. Well, it's not a sailboat.

And most sailboats of any size have engines to port them around or to use when there is no wind. So I guess you could get a sailboat with solar panels to drive an electric engine.

But, he didn't get that kind of boat.

The purchase of it I mean. At any rate, you can't win with them.

They suggest that the only way we could take Al Gore seriously would be if he lived in a cave, ate grubs and walked every where. How dare he live in a nice house and ever fly! Hypocrite!

At the same time when you talk about trying to slow down or prevent global warming, inevitably someone says "the liberals just want to make us live in caves, eat grubs and walk everywhere. Well I for one refuse to live that way!"

Or something alone those lines. It's such a laughably bad false dichotomy. Either we're cave living grub eaters OR we continue to live decadently and wastefully with no changes.
