Across Canada (6500 km) by electric bicycle..

I know there are a lot of electric vehicle aficionados here on DU, I thought some of you might enjoy checking out the progress of this guy who is currently (heh) embarked on a ride from the west coast of Canada to the east coast on an electric bicycle of his own design and fabrication.

A decent electric bicycle uses about 15 watt/hours per mile. This guy's bike is instrumented to a fare-thee-well and he will have a great amount of data to crunch when he is finished with his ride.

2. I guess your handle fits then LOL..

I'm working on my own electric recumbent right now, a bikeE, it's like a Barcalounger on two wheels compared to a regular bike.
