Captain Combover and his spouse are pretty much immune from media criticism, except for the kind that is easily laughed off (i.e.: the ad Paris Hilton herself made is being shown a lot ..... "hahahaha").

Meanwhile, the Obama family has to show the media how 'normal' they are, how Mrs. Obama is not an angry black radical. How Mr. Obama is not a Muslim or a crazy, far left liberal. No "hahahaha" is heard in these stories.

But of course, our media is liberally biased. (<---- sarcasm in the extreme)

Amazing how everything about the Obamas is fair game (even, for some, their kids, because .... well ..... they allowed that interview a while back).

Yet, the Combovers are protected. We can't talk about his service. We can't talk about his military record. We can't talk about his age. We can't talk about his cancer. We can't talk about her past drug issues or the fact that she committed a felony. Any time any of this is brought up, someone pops up and says how terrible it is to discuss *that* issue. The pop ups come from - amazingly - all parts of the political spectrum, not just his natural constituency. The man, along with a sickeningly sycophantic media, has done a positively amazing job of immunizing himself from EVERYTHING. And it isn't just the Moron Community who buys into the immunization; even the Community of the Generally Reasoned buys into most, if not all of it.

Consider this: If it were said, over and over and over, with media spots to discuss it among so called "experts", that John McCain, very late one night, while completely drunk, once masturbated to orgasm on the floor of the Capitol Rotunda, it would become common knowledge and accepted as fact. In other words, totally fabricated, outrageous on its face, outright lies can be made into 'common knowledge' facts.

It happens to Democrats EVERY FUCKING CYCLE.

But we need to be careful what we say about Captain Combover. Wouldn't want to tip any sacred cows.
