If the JUST penalty for murdering one person is death
What is the JUST penalty for being responsible for the killing of thousands?

3. It should be the same
But the person responsible should not hang himself, he should be accompanied to the scaffold by those who carried out his orders. He should be the last one to hang, so that he can watch as his accomplices dance a jig in the air and he gets to see what's awaiting him!

5. I Don't Accept the Original Premise
Send the war criminals to the Hague.
The International Criminal Court won't execute them, but it will lock them up,
and they won't be pardoned or let out on parole.

8. The answer, if possible, will be revealing. For the past eight years, its been perplexing to hear
from the Law&Order folks when the 'rule of law' is directed against one person for one infraction. But, there is silence when violations of human rights and civil rights plays out before us daily and on a world-wide scale.

9. Well, I'm against the death penalty for anyone but life in prison should
be the sentence for murder with no chance of parole. Sometimes judges apply a death penalty for each murder, so if there is a chance that person could get paroled or released for one murder, he would have to start serving a sentence for the next murder and so on. If the person happens to be wealthy, especially if he gained that wealth through criminal and dishonest means, he should be stripped of all his assets to be distributed to his victims and to the state to defray the cost of his incarceration.

13. Do you think that Capital Punishment is just?
But to answer your question death is generally considered the worst punishment society can inflict.

"It's a hell of a thing, killin' a man. Take away all he's got, and all he's ever gonna have." - Unforgiven.
