McSame: "Let's get this energy crisis solved."
Just now on CNN.
That's what he said.
This may be the dumbest goddam thing he's said yet.
And finding dumb statements by Johnnie is, as they say, 'a target rich environment'.

He thinks we can 'solve' this thing.
Like filling a pothole.
"There. That's done. Move on."

Honey, this isn't a problem that's gonna be 'solved'.
This isn't like finding some instantaneous, magic bullet, to cure cancer.
It's going to take years of hard (and very smart and innovative) work, and a lot of money, to get us from way back here to way over there.

The man's shallowness is astounding.
Jaw dropping.
:eyes:

3. Dumb it may be....
but it's what voters want to hear. Recall what happened the last time a president openly discussed the need for hard work and sacrifice from Americans in solving an energy crisis. They voted Ronald "morning in America" Reagan into office by 70%.

4. Republicans never ever solve problems....
... They create problems, profit massively from them, then expect a public bailout when it all crashes down around... anyone but them.

McCain's Big Oil backers absolutely do not want him 'solving' anything, while they're busy making so much money.
