Anybody have Keith Olberman’s email address? Nobody else will talk about the elephant in the room that caused the sub-prime meltdown and wrecked our economy, that elephant being Phil Gramm and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley act of 1999.

After the 1929 crash and Great Depression congress passed the Glass-Steagall Act that separated the banking, insurance and stockbrokerage businesses. The Gramm-Leach-Bliley act repealed all of those protections allowing banks to issue stocks.

It would be nice if Keith could have his staff research this and do a segment on it.
