1. As much as I detest his ideas, I hate to see anyone with an affliction
like that. I knew a fellow who died from that, and it's awful.

13. I had a close friend who died of an inoperable brain tumor.
She was my age. Other than her three (adult) children who were her only immediate family, I was her primary emotional support as she confronted her terminal condition. It was an agonizing six months ... horribly difficult for everyone.

RIP, Joyce.

3. I just hope he has doctors as good as Kennedy's... maybe...
... he'll have an epiphany and drop a piggybank full of dimes. I'm not betting on it, but anything can happen...

4. "Retired" implies he was previously gainfully employed.

I didn't know there were any positions in the field of geriatric alcoholic lying hatemonger.

Who knew?

7. I don't wish death on him
at least not a death by natural causes. I want him to live long enough to be convicted of treason in the Plame incident and stood up in front of a firing squad.

8. Could this back up his claim of not seeing the guy he hit?
My mother-in-law died from lymphoma in the brain. Before she was diagnosed, and the reason she went to the doctor in the first place, was her erratic and sometimes irrational behavior. It got to the point where we knew something was wrong with her. We first started noticing changes a good 6 months prior to her diagnosis.

To hit someone with a car and claim to not have noticed makes no sense, but this is just the kind of behavior my MIL exhibited. Irrational and sometimes ridiculous. She started to become a different person and it wasn't a particularly pleasant one either. Medication helped a lot with that after her diagnosis and I can't help but wonder if something similar could be happening with Novak. I'm certainly no fan of Bob Novak but, like I said, I can't help but wonder.

10. Wait . . . Satan doesn't take a holiday or retire, does he?
Ain't Novak in the same league.

Evil doesn't take time off.

(I don't want to see anyone go through a terrible death, but this man has been a purveyor of lies, and instrument of the powerful and heartless, and an traitor to human consciousness.)

15. I certainly did not want him to leave the public eye this way.
He needs to be known for the idiot he was. I wish him well in his recovery, but seriously, his brand of "journalism" was bad and I hope people do not forget this.
