What is the advantage to closing up the Anthrax assassination/murder case before Obama takes office?

And don't kid yourself either as this was definitely an assassination attempt against of our leading Dem politicians by someone.

Obama who will soon be in charge of the Justice Department and will have his new Attorney General just reopen the case next year.

So why the rush to put a bowtie on this one? I don't get it?
