only.... In fact did ANYBODY in congress get the Anthrax Vaccine which had scalene in it and was given to thousands of our troops in Iraq and how many died from Anthrax in Iraq ???? Did the FBI get the vaccine????

The Anthrax vaccine had scalene in it which is suppose to boost the immune system but it instead attacked it... It was not FDA approved and I bet Bush and others never got the vaccine which was mandatory for our troops overseas ...which made someone who had the Anthrax Vaccine very very rich and with test subjects ...but it all failed but they did get their money

3. Keep in mind that Anthrax

is hardly the deadly scourge that recent media coverage would lead you to believe. It's out there in the wild, and humans rarely contract it.

What happened in 2001/2002 was quite weird and has never been fully explained, but almost no one died, and certainly not any of the supposed high profile targets. What was accomplished was to close a post office or two (and I think at least one of those has never reopened) and mail to Congress and various high officials may not even be read any more.

I'm sure that Cheney and all other high officials of the administration received Cipro, as that is the treatment of choice, since the vaccine (which I believe consists of multiple doses) takes about six weeks to be effective. Recall that there was a ludicrous run on Cipro at the time, even though it apparently has some pretty severe side effects, so it's probably not a good idea to take casually.

all of this is a distraction to keep us from focusing on all of the many things that really mater, such as taking away many of our freedoms, the handing over of Iraq to private corporations, the complete disregard on the part of the administration for the rule of law. They work very hard to keep us in a state of perpetual fear over things that aren't very important, then tell us the way to make it all good is to go out shopping.

Always look behind the curtain.

6. To say that Congress, the Supreme Court, and

the White House should all be inoculated with anthrax vaccine (which requires a series of shots over 18 months and yearly boosters are recommended) is to suggest that they are in immediate danger of infection. Our troops are probably not in immediate danger of infection, unless our government has plans to loose "weaponized" anthrax (which apparently just barely exists and isn't all that easy to make) where the troops are.

My point is that we're all being encouraged to be afraid, be very afraid.

Personally, I'm not convinced that "they" knew where it came from. That assumes a level of competence and secret-keeping that I doubt "they" are capable of. Notice how the only ones who got sick and died were essentially random bystanders, not important targets. My guess is that someone, somewhere, somehow, got ahold of the anthrax and simply mailed it off, not even caring if it reached its destination, but hoping enough people would get sick and die so as to accomplish whatever. I agree that it's all quite mysterious, and for my money the most interesting thing about it all is that several weeks BEFORE the anthrax started arriving, the NYTimes was openly speculating that an anthrax attack would be next.
