Has anyone received this e-mail? I have three times and it really upsets me!

To All:The following was forwarded to me by a Vietnam Veteran member of my detachment. Before sending it on, I checked with Snopes at:http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/airplane.asp and determined that it is essentially true...the North American Airlines American Flag logo was replaced by Obama's sunrise/flag "O" campaign logo.&n bsp;Given the fact that I can't stand the man and think his ultra-left wing politics are a real threat to American culture and values, I abhor his arrogance, self-aggrandizement, self-centeredness, and condescension. If he is elected president the country will survive, just as it survived Carter and Clinton, but the damage done will be much more than superficial.

Barack Obama recently finished a $500,000 total overhaul of his 757. And as part of the new design, he decided to remove the American flag from the tail...
What American running for President of the United States would remove the symbol of his country? And worse, he replaced the flag with it with a symbol of himself... Obama is such a despicable human being.

5. Did you go read the snopes link?

The logo on the plane was 'trademarked' by North American. Also, at the end of snopes link, it clearly shows the flag was retained, adjacent to the registration number. Some people have way too much time on their hands, and you're helping them out by spreading this crap.

McCain also does not have a flag on his airplane tail, so don't let anyone go without pointing this out! Obama actually does have a flag on his plane if you check out the bottom page on snopes. And--if you think about it, his logo is the flag depicted in art form. I want to say "duh!" to these people that send these out!

13. Not Understanding

I don't understand these people. What is it they like about what Bush and his gang has done to the country? What is it they think McCain will do differently?
Do they like the job shortage? The one that forces people from full time work to part time?
Do they like the way the unregulated lenders duped dumb people into buying houses they did not have the income to buy?
Do they like that nearly 5000 of our brave military members were killed fighting for oil? Do they like the fact that so many of those members will come home maimed and rattled, lives changed forever?
Do they like that our freedoms are being taken from us under the guise of protection?
Why do they want another Republican elected? Can't they look around and see what they have done? Their total power may have damaged this country beyond fixing.

I see nothing in any campaign ad that would give anyone confidence that McCain has any answers at all. What is it they see?

I emailed the guy back and asked him if he REALLY thought that Obama would take the American flag off of the Airforce One and replace it with HIS logo?? lol Get real. But that's what the email was alluding to.

I saw this just yesterday in the mailstream. This, friends, is a proposed flag for the North American Union, a "country" comprised of Canada, the US, and Mexico ala the European Union.

I don't know how much truth there is to the NAU stuff, but that's the flag I saw on the mailing urging the addressee to write their Congressman in opposition to it.
