McCain Ads on Democratic Underground

Sometimes I see McCain ads on DemocraticUnderground. Is there a reason for that, afterall, this is a place for Democrats... Has anyone else see those ads?

I know that I've been posting for two weeks but I've been thinking about having AD on DU but again, I don't know how much that would cost and I'm sure that it would cost like $500 or more. Its just, I want people to know about my involvement in politics and my message of making a difference no matter what.

5. The ads are appearing because they are contextual to the topics at DU.

McCain is not targeting DU, but Google recognizes the subject matter, and displays the ads.

If you make a donation to DU, you help support the site and you also have the option to turn off the ads.

But I'm only 14 (15 in November) so I can't but I have mailed a $1 donation in to DU but thats really nothing. I support this money but I just don't have the money to make a donation and my parents won't donate on my behalf.

8. If you can be more specific about what the ads say, and where you've seen them

then you can contact the administrators, who may decide the ads are unsuitable - ads are primarily handled by another company, but admin can ask them to block specific ones that the site thinks are unsuitable.
