I am honestly surprised to see C-SPAN jump on this so quickly. Lichblau has done some great reporting and isn't the usual corporate shill or repugnican sockpuppet.

I'm curious to hear if there's any outrage out of the GOOPers...

Goodling used to screen for LIKE MINDED employees for the DOJ was developed at the WH!!! He also said it was used throughout the admin and not only at the DOJ! That's the first time I heard THAT! I'm not surprised, but I just never heard where it was developed.

Sheesh...I remember hearing it on several front...along with the intimidation of UN diplomats...having their calls tapped...to both discredit the UN inspectors and spread the Iraq=WMD meme. Lichblau should have also been familiar with both...and, yes, his dismisal leaves a lot to be desired.

Also, the caller who said he thought the Anthrax came from Iraq speaks to many who were out there. Remember, the corporate media showed those notes and the "any reasonable" person could easily deduce in the hysteria of the time it came from Iraq. The fact it went to Democrats and the NYT tipped me at the time that this was a black-ops or wingnut gone wild.

Now let's see if Brian Ross comes forward to discuss who his triple and quadrupal sources were.

I watched it last night...our cable system has it "On Demand"...Moyers is excellent as usual. This is definitely a mustsee for all here to shine light on what we're fighting against.

One wonders how Norquist and Reed have keep their asses out of jail so far...also what goodies Jack's been spilling in his 3 years as a guest of the Federal Corrections system.

So Reed is hiding in a "PR firm" in Georgia working for Gramps...but what good is a "PR" person who can't show his face publicly without getting asked some embarassing questions.

Reed took that money and spread it around "religious radio and television" and friendly preachers. Wanna bet John Hagee was one of 'em? Reed, through his years with Pat Robertson, had set up a broadcast empire using "non-for-profit" religious stations that used public airwaves...funneling money like this to the "dollar-a-hollar" preachers on radio and TV that have long been the grapevine for the fundies. Grassley wants to investigate the funding of a lot of these preachers...including our good buddy Jimmy Dobson...thus Grassley has become the anti-christ.

Also don't forget about Gramps girlfriend...


Vickie Iseman...the lobbyist who worked for Bud Paxon (who lent Gramps his corporate jet) and his "Pax" network made a lot of money from those dollar-a-hollar dudes.
