Bruce E. Ivins, one of the nation's top biodefense researchers, dies just as the Justice Department was to file criminal charges against him in the 2001 mailing attacks that killed five

2. At least this suicide wasn't a bullet in the back of the head or
multiple stab wounds around the upper body, front and back.

3. Sorry but this has me reaching in my kitchen cabinent to grab one of these...
:tinfoilhat: cause the hair is standing on the back of my neck and my brain is silently screaming "this is not a mere coincidence".

4. Hmmm Is Correct
So...

A top government scientist who helped the FBI analyze samples from the 2001 anthrax attacks has died in Maryland from an apparent suicide, just as the Justice Department was about to file criminal charges against him for the attacks, the Los Angeles Times has learned.

Now how many remember those attacks? They tried to pin this terrorist action (against Democrats) on someone else...all but ruining the man's life and career...and now we learn they had someone else under suspicion...taking nearly 7 years to file charges? And here's the most intersting tidbit:

Ivins, whose name had not been disclosed publicly as a suspect in the case, played a central role in research to improve anthrax vaccines by preparing anthrax formulations used in experiments on animals.

As the saying goes...dead men tell no tales. There sure appears more we need to know. Thank you for posting this...

Anthrax vaccine may be another key here.
I need more hours in the day to google this properly. Bioport is another key word here. Follow the money.

7. Bingo...
I see a lot of loose ends in this story...and I'd sure like to see that the findings against this man are made public...and as always...follow the money. Here's hoping someone in the blogosphere picks up on this and does some digging.

Cheers...

5. Yeah, this can't possibly be true
I mean, I'm sure he looked forward to spending the rest of his life incarcerated.
