RCMP spokesman calls passengers' behavior "brave" and "extraordinary
http://www.cbc.ca/canada/manitoba/story/2008/07/31/greyhound-transcanada.html

I think we need to remember that although they didn't lose their lives, the other passengers were also victims.

I hope for peace for the young man's family, but I feel that will be a very long time coming.

2. I saw a clip of one of the passengers describing what happened
To be honest I didn't understand the entire story until I heard this young guy tell about it. He was quite calm, and I realized he was probably in shock because as he gave the horrific details there was this look in his eyes that said this was something he'd never forget.

And children witnessed it too. Terrible.

5. I know there was a six-year-old there
I was terrorized for years from watching "Trilogy of Terror" on TV -- imagine what THIS will do to a child?

3. I read about it and just wondered
WHY?

Fortunately no one else was hurt (physically)
and the RCMPs have the aniac under control.

What a horror. I dont know how the family of the young man who got stabbed could possibly live through this.
My prayers are with them.

4. What an awful thing to happen.
I really feel for the victims and the family of the man killed. They must be terribly traumatized.
