I never would have thought it. Thinking about it though, I haven't seen that many McCain bumper stickers, even though this is his state. I don't even see that many W stickers anymore. In fact, I think I see more Obama and 1-20-09 than any other kind.

I'm over here in red rock country. See lots of Obama signs here.

No one here wants McCain to win...he'll name my town as his "home" cause of his "ranch" down the road. I can see the restricted airspace & SS dudes all over if he wins (which he won't...NOT gonna happen!)Anyhow, I think most people who know McCain will probably vote Obama.

I am almost certain that a) it's an interactive poll, which is far less reliable than a "regular" poll, and 2) it's about three weeks old, which tells you something about how little people are paying attention to it.

IMO, McWhine will have to work to carry his home state, but right now he's still ahead.

I used to take their polls until I saw that they were mining far more than political opinions. Also, that they had too many variables in the way they tabulate their numbers. Please, don't take these numbers too seriously, the media won't.

I do think Gramps is in pretty crappy shape in his home state...but let's see how a PPP or Rasmussen poll looks...then if he's behind, get out the TP. :rofl:

25. I am from Arizona, but the reason he is failing here is probably different

than a solid vote "for" Obama. More like apathy for an unpopular person spoken about earlier, based on previous actions. People don't realize how importantly devastating McCains immigration votes were to him. What people don't realize is that there were 5 of 6 anti-immigration referendums passed by massive (70-78%) margins in 2006, by both parties. Many of these draconian, and a bit of a knee jerk reaction, but proven valid by the state supreme court laws were and are very popular. Sidebar, our Democratic governor signed one of the most sweeping reforms in the nation at the time. A year later, McCain offers amnesty. Republicans here hate him for Amnesty. My two cents.
