Did anyone watch the McCain town-hall in Racine WI today?
I watched the end of it after the Obama townhall...

Some of his supporters asked him pretty good questions.. the rest were just sucking his Cheney for being a POW.

The end was shitty-- basically his argument is that he will always put the country first because he is a pow and that is all we need to know.

Did anyone watch the whole thing?

1. Was cheese featured prominently?
The Straight-Talk Express runs on cholesterol. That stop at the Sausage Haus was just to fill up the tank.

2. Right-wing journalists likes Richard Cohen have signed off on the
"He was a POW and that's al that matters" meme. Burn Big Media to the ground.

3. I just don't get how people can fall for that shit...

One lady was actually starting to cry while thanking him for his service--- then she led into how that shows that he loves the country as much as she does. This shit is starting piss me off. If he is going to run on his military record then i think the shit should be fair game.

7. Espcially since most of them fawned over a drunken, cowardly deserter 4 years ago
when it was running against a real war hero.

8. Well, there have been a lot of POW's what makes him "special"
and also his public service was just living on the welfare of the government all his life. He has no experience in leadership, just following.

my father in-law was a POW... I have known him for over 10 years and have never heard him mention it.

9. How big was the crowd?
Obama seems able to draw about a quarter million, but I'd reckon Racine doesn't have quite that many folks interested in turning out for McThuselah.
