On the CNN radio news (during Thom Hartmann) just now, they reported on Exxon's huge profit......
....and added, "but there's a caveat".....then they played a tape of some analyst bemoaning the "huge amount of taxes" Exxon had to pay, and how that affected the bottom line. :wtf:
F**king please! The corporatist propaganda that passes for news really pisses me off! :argh:

2. I wonder, did the huge amount of taxes they had to pay offset the
forgiving of 90% of the fines levied against them for the Exxon Valdez spill?
