It's that terry jeffrey character that sounds lie a teenage girl and pukes out anti tax talking points endlessly.

I can't listen to his voice and his accent makes me sick.

2. I used to do that, but recently Thom explained why he has these asswipes on.
He explained that it's important for all of us to know how to counter these types of people when we encounter them in our daily lives. It's like a training session for debunking Repug talking points.

Now that I view it that way, it's easier to listen and learn.

They just spout shit anyway. I don't know how Thom stays so patient with them.

5. Their agenda is quite narrow - therefore, they are predictable. In one way Thom
is right in that we can learn how to counter and he is a good one to do that. It's a wonder that they even go on his show. Perhaps The Terry types are not getting enough air time on corporate tv.

6. Yeah, I wonder about that one
She's got no expertise, no cohesive theory, just disconnected RW talking points that often contradict. Tom, treats her like royalty... I don't get it.

7. I was getting annoyed that Thom didn't ask Inhofe's paid LIAR who the organization awarding
Edited on Wed Jul-30-08 01:16 PM by patrice
petro-chemical's pet scientist his award is.

Inhofe's flunkie kept saying "... award winning scientist..." so-and-so as though whatever the award was is proof of the scientist's validity - when anykind of organization that wants to can put itself together and handout awards for whatever they want to hand out awards for. Doesn't necessrily mean anything valid about environmental science.
