Wouldn't the liberal-hating wingnut loony be news? And not the earthquake? Remember how they all went ballistic 24/7 about Wright? HOW is it possible for people to be so unbelievably stupid as to still manage to believe the mainstream media is liberal?

1. That's not a liberal/conservative thing. That's a sensationalistic thing.
What makes for better video, an earthquake and its destructive aftereffects, or a doddering old senator from Alaska?

4. The wingnut loony who shot those people in a church? That's sensationalistic.
He had the wingnut rabble-rousers' books in his house. This is more than enough for the huge red banners on the bottom and 24/7 live analysis of rightwing hate speech, and whether it's caused crazy people to commit violent acts. If it was a liberal media... they'd be ALL OVER IT.

10. I could buy your theory if there WAS "destructive aftereffects"
But the most destruction shown on TV was a broken water line. I think regardless of ideology, when a member of Congress is arrested for accepting bribes it should be the top story that day.

No... really? Tell me that's not ... no. I bet you're not even kidding. :banghead: And a hairdo isn't even sensationalistic... so... no excuses for it. None.

3. GEM$NBC has exposed their sorry asses today
They did their best to ignore Stevens and stayed on script for the horse race Tuesday, but there's nothing like good diversion with these hacks. So you see they can change the script when it suits them. It won't change the facts - Ted Stevens the longest- serving and most senior Rethug has been indicted.

IF it was a liberal media... that'd be all we'd hear about, 24/7, for days... DAYS!

8. Show it on the boob tube!
I want the bobble head whores ranting about the wingnut loony rabble rousers and whether their hate speech is causing loonies to commit acts of violence. And I want them talking about how the CONservative party's longest sitting senator has now been indicted. You know... stuff that a "liberal media" would make sure to cover.

7. Very simple. Because that is what the public is told - over and over again. It is
crazy to expect the typical brain-dead American to use their limited gray cells to reason something out. It is easier to simply accept what comes out of the magic box.

12. But they've been told over and over that they're killing the planet...
THAT didn't sink in till the ice caps started disappearing. So ... I still don't get it.

14. That same media has also been telling them that global climate change is a lie.
The public gets NO counter-argument to the right-wing filth that spews forth from the corporate media about the libruls running things.

15. But again... if it were a liberal media... would they be saying global warming is a lie?
At some point, everyone starts thinking for themselves, right?

19. Well I can't stop hoping that someday, they'll catch on...
and realize it's not a liberal media at all, but a corporate media, and that it's these same corporations that are taking advantage of them.

18. I can't help hoping that someday... these wrong-wingers will wake up
and realize they've been lied to and played for fools by the Straussians running the show... is that naive? Too hopeful?
