Poll question: Do you believe the television imagery and video...
...put forth by U.S. corporate media can always safely be assumed to be authentic, as opposed to manipulated and/or materially altered?

1. quite the opposite
I can assume that it has been manipulated and/or altered consistently.

2. If it isn't altered, it's taken out of context
Which is worse in some ways.

But would they alter basic, material facts? Video, pictures, sound?

Why the hell not? If they think they can get away with it, anyway. What if one day something happened, and there were clear recordings of it available, and allll the media footage showed something significantly different? The general public would believe the media footage and say anything else was altered, when in fact it could be the opposite. This would require a lot of collusion though.

3. The public has been successfully conditioned to believe TV, particularly TV news.
This is a huge problem.

4. What entities own and control the media?
Would the MIC manipulate the public mind to get what they want? You can bet on it!

8. I bet if you polled folks who lived in the Soviet Union, you'd get similar lopsided results.
The US has become a pretty fucked up country as far as freedom goes.

9. I'll bet the former Soviet Union citizenry would find...
...such a question laughable.
