John Nichols on Impeachment

As most of us have long known, John Nichols is one of our side's best (and more prolific) writers and speakers, so it was a real pleasure to hear him talk about impeachment in Madison last night. Since he'd already set forth many of his basic points in his book, The Genius of Impeachment, I was already fairly familiar with and appreciative of much of what he had to say. But this being Madison and the event well-organized, things readily took on a bit of a political rally atmosphere, and that was dandy, too.

All that said, here's a suggestion: Next time you're thinking date night, give the mediocre movie a miss and go catch something of substance instead. Sure worked for us!
