What is the price where you are located?

BOSTON (AP) ―

Gas prices in Massachusetts have dropped 8 cents in the past week, and a gallon
is now averaging less than $4 for the first time since early June.

A statewide survey Monday by AAA of Southern New England found an average
price of $3.95 a gallon for self-serve, regular unleaded gasoline.

That's 13 cents lower than three weeks ago.

Massachusetts is even with the national average of $3.95.

A year ago, the average price in the Bay State was $2.86.

Commuters Ride T In Record Numbers

BOSTON (WBZ) ―

Rising gas prices sent commuters flocking to the MBTA in record numbers over the last 12 months.
The transit system released figures Monday showing that nearly 375 million people took public
transportation in fiscal 2008, a 6 percent increase from the previous year and the highest
ridership figure ever.

I wish there was a bus service in my town. I'd use it all the time!

The brand-name stations are about $4.00. Of course, I choose the cheap stations, like Hess, Pace, Haffner's, etc.

14. northern California
I was out on Sat. night. I ran into a young woman and she was all *whoopie* about the price drop and said it "felt good".

I told her the prices would go up again after the election - just wait and see.

I don't drive much. I bought a total of 7 gallons in one month. People aren't driving much in rural California with these prices!

I have a Discover Card that gives 5% cash-back on gasoline purchases. That helps a tiny bit.

were at $3.95 for a day...then they dropped theirs to compete.
