Man Shot in congregation because of its "liberal" views.
This is what Yahoo is reporting.

My neighbor also has a great dislike for the ACLU, stoked I think by the church he attends.

This fundamentalist hatemongering has consequences. When you portray abortion providers as murderers and those who support the ACLU (the UU church in Knoxville had helped establish a chapter of the ACLU) as liberals and supporters of immorality and criminality or whatever the speaker wants to portray the ACLU as you will have some people like the shooter going bonkers and carrying out an act like this.

1. Question
Do liberals/progressives run conservative/fundamentalist churches and start shooting them for being conservative?

2. Indeed...
...fact remains that these organizations, liberal as they are and as much as conservatives might disagree, are not engaging in illegal acts by todays laws. I think that churches and hate mongers that try to say that they are and inciting hatred and violence against them and the people that belong to them, are guilty of criminality and should be prosecuted accordingly, or at the very least, revoke their tax-exempt status and ridicule them in the public square.

And if all that doesn't work, take em out back and shoot them. </sarcasm, but only mildly and begrudgingly>
