Happy Birthday Me!!!! From my boss's boss -
Edited on Fri Jul-25-08 03:59 PM by Indenturedebtor
"If you don't close two deals in the next 3 hours we're going to cut your tiny salary." :woohoo:

It could be worse. They could lay me off so I could at least collect unemployment. Instead they're going to pay me less than I need to pay my bills hah. Gotta love it!

I've sold 10% less than my boss this month lol. I'm ranked 7th out of 20 sales people. Still having a shitty couple of months but sales aren't exactly booming in the US.

Ah well at least I'm a year older!

Here's to me, here's to you, and here's to our economy!

On edit - fuck em. I never wanted a stupid car and a stupid house. All I want is time and just enough money to enjoy life a little. Take all of my crap and give me the birthday gift of freedom. Fuck you corporate america. I hope you drown in your bloodmoney.

I really honestly don't care about all this material crap and bullshit american dream anymore.

4. Heh right now - surveillance systems
Business was booming until very recently. This month pretty much the whole company is doing poorly  Nearly every client I talk to doesn't want to spend any money citing the economy.

7. What difference does it make right? It's not like most of us will be able to retire
Or even to have healthcare if we manage to do that. Fuck it.

8. If we lose this election, things will get worse.
I've heard it a thousand times "things will have to get worse until they get better". Whenever it reaches it's peak worseness, which I don't think we've seen yet, there will be a swing to the left that will last a generation. It might just be the end of the Republican party as we know it.

10. Personally I'm just hoping for a way out of the States
Everything I was led to believe growing up - all the pathways to success the social bargain "Go to college, work hard, build your resume, give 120%, be professional, blah blah, and everything will work out ok. Buy a house, dress for success, go that extra mile for the company, blah blah." It's all bullshit except for a very small percentage of the population who are either lucky, or of course have a leg up through family friends and money.

Who cares right? What am I working so hard for again? Lol to hell with it all! Give me a shack on a beach where I can sell skim boards and coconuts.

9. Well a 'Happy Birthday' is in order
:toast:
Hang in there its bound to get better, if it doesn't then its really going to be going downhill so then it won't matter anymore anyway for any of us.
