Yeah, I know. I'm probably jumping to an unfair conclusion.
That conclusion of mine?
Novak aimed for the guy because he could. He hit him because he was angry the old guy was blocking his way. He left the scene, confident he was important enough to get away with hitting a 'bum'.
Like I said ... and unfair conclusion.
But it is the only conclusion that makes sense. There is just no way in hell a Corvette driver would not know he hit a pedestrian.
blocking interviews, how in the hell do you let your 86 year old relative wander the streets? Perhaps there is a good explanation, but still, it's curious.
10. It is harder than people think to get legal control of a mentally ill relative.
A friend of mine had a schizophrenic mother who was able to pull herself together at any hearing -- so the judge would rule her competent and my friend never succeeded in getting legal guardianship. The mother was kicked out of one goup home or special housing situation after another (she refused to live with my friend). She never ended up on the streets -- as far as I know -- but if she had wanted to, there was nothing my friend could have done to stop her.
12. I know, it's very difficult sometimes ,especially with mental illness..
that is why I will withhold judgement. Apparently he was living at a men's shelter for the most part. The family may not have even known where he was. Very sad.
