Did Scarborough say KO is Too Stupid to be on TV?
Edited on Wed Jul-23-08 03:16 PM by RamboLiberal
Cable networks MSNBC and CNN have aired segments discussing McCain's "misstep" today, while Joe Scarborough talked about the media angle of the story this morning, and had some harsh words for his fellow MSNBC host...

"I know a couple of hosts ran this last night, made a huge deal because a liberal blogger picked it up. I will guarantee the host that ran it, waving their arms had no idea whether the Sunni Awakening or the surge began at the same time," Scarborough said.

"Anybody that would argue that the Sunni awakening would have survived in Al Anbar Province without the surge, anybody that would make that argument, is so ignorant of the facts on the ground in western Iraq, in Al Anbar Province and what the Sunni Sheiks were doing throughout 2007, that they are too stupid to be on TV. So I hope they don't carry that argument much longer because it is laughable."

1. Scarborough needs a sedative - he's so jealous of Obama he's going to stroke out.
He thinks he's some sort of expert on Iraq and he can insult Olbermann? LOL! I can't stand that idiot.

10. I'm hoping she's on later -- I'd have to TiVo her if she took Scab's spot
I'm hoping they give her David "Dancing Fool" Gregory's
slot after the election.

7. Joe is underselling the power of local Sunni sheiks and overplaying the power of Al Qaeda in Iraq.
The Sunni sheiks were getting tired of the civilian casualties caused by Qaeda-built car bombs and truck bombs, especially against mosque goers who were not supportive of Al Qaeda. The sheiks collectively probably have many times the number of militiamen under arms than Al Qaeda in Iraq ever did.

8. Morning Joe is an improvement...
Morning Joe is an improvement over Imus in my opinion but
sometimes Scarborough can really be a pompous ass. He was rude
to Wes Clark this morning, too. Wouldn't let him finish a
sentence and practically accused him of dismissing the
contributions of our soldiers and marines in Iraq. Anyone who
knows Clark knows that Joe was way off base with that one.

11. Scaborough is a smart guy
Smart enough to get away with murder that is.

Not that that makes him smart, he was in the right state and knew the right people and had some power.

Joe Scaborough is an ass!

This is not the first time he's mocked Keith. He did it a few times before he took off when his wife had the baby.

16. Joe knows more politics, but he is not smarter. The intelligence rankings at MSNBC go something like
Pat Buchanan is smarter than everyone else put together, Chris Matthews and Rachel Maddow are next, KO is probably next but he has his head so full of sports trivia there is not enough room for politics trivia, David Schuster and Joe are next. And then there are lots of average people and dumb people.

Pat Buchanan has the kinds of smarts that are so way above everyone else that he does not even bother trying to look smart or impress anyone with his intelligence. He knows that he is the smartest person in the room. He could care less if the viewers are impressed with his IQ. He has other stuff on his mind. One of the ways that you can tell that Karl Rove is not all that is because he is so obsessed with proving that he is a frigging genius. The people who are used to being at the top of the class where ever they go eventually start trying to hide it in order to socialize with others.
