Until recently he just said he was born at Coco Solo Hospital.. the pictured one is the 1941 hospital... They must have torn down the log cabin one he was born in :)

That is not a very photogenic man. He looks like an android who just spent the past hour under heat lamps. I so cannot wait until the debates. I have a feeling it will be like Kennedy/Nixon times 100. McCain will make Nixon look like Jimmy Stewart in comparison. Bring on those debates!

but maybe you should lose the Coco Solo thing?

The official Coco Solo Hospital was built in 41, but the Coco Solo naval base was established in 1918.
It would be surprising if after 18 years they didn't have something they called a 'hospital' even if it wasn't the one built in 41.
(actually, the size of the one built in 41 indicates that they likely already had something)

It doesn't seem out of line to say "I was born at the Coco Solo hospital in 36"

Mc cain was Born at Coco Solo Base hospital.. and later in the entry it said the hospital was built in 1941.. that;s why so many bloggers latched onto the msytery of it all :)
