As a Democrat running for a seat in a Republican district against a popular Republican incumbent:


If you get a call from the county, town, state democrat committee, don't waste the volunteer's time, tell them you are voting a straight D ticket. Don't prolong the call, they have thousands more to make. And get everyone in the house to talk to that volunteer.

If the candidate shows up at your door, don't be coy. Tell them that you are voting for them. And don't rant and rave about how bad things are. If you feel that strongly, you should volunteer.

Please volunteer. It could be one hour a month. If you want to take this country back, we have to get engaged.
