the angst was tasty. the anger and outrage, just lovely. It should be even more fun to sample this November.

1. I'll file it under don't get overconfident.....we all know the
Republics will swiftboat and Diebold their way to "victory" if that's what it takes.

And the polls show things very close, which should not be the case considering what a mess this country is in with the economy/mortgage crisis/unemployment/gas prices/deficit and the war, etc.

I hope you're right, but I'm far from confident.

2. There are no close polls
The state races show very little of the voter base in play.

The right wing has always managed to keep us down by discouraging us and floating all manner of "we can't win!"
memes on boards such as this. Our problem is not overconfidence but very much the reverse.

We have every reason for confidence.

4. Of course there are close polls.
I have no doubt Republicans will be voting for McCain when all is said and done in November.

No question about it.

8. lol - well, keep your hopes up but I wouldn't count on McCain winning
The only way they can win it is to steal it as they usually do. :)

There are a handful of close polls but the big populace states (in other words, the states where the
majority of the people aren't idiots) will go to Obama.

3. Gee, and I remember all those terrorist attacks which they predicted would happen!
I mean, they were spot on when they said that the terrorists would bomb so many U.S. sites should the Dems take control ...

:sarcasm:

5. When that last state calls in its results and Obama is President-elect
I will start gloating. Until then I wouldn't take anything for granted.
