Anyone read "Replay" by Ken Grimmwood?
Edited on Sat Jul-19-08 12:20 AM by TwoSparkles
Before yesterday, I hadn't ever heard of "Replay" by Ken Grimmwood. My husband told me this morning
that I MUST read it.

Out of curiosity, I started it this morning. I just finished it tonight.

It was...absolutely mind blowing.

I'm sorry to be obtuse, but I don't want to give anything away--other than saying that it's about a man who dies of a heart
attack at age 43, and wakes up to find that he's 18 again--with the memories intact, of his life beyond 18. He knows he died
and came back. He just doesn't understand why.

You just need to read this book.

It's deep. It's thought provoking. It's complex, sad--and it could change your life.

I'll be interested to hear from other DUers who have read this book. The book included some interesting
discourse on politics and the state of world affairs and US foreign policy. This book was published
in 1988, but it quite prescient. Indeed!

1. Hi, I read it several years ago. I remember liking it a lot, but not much else...
Which is odd as some books are lodged in my brain with the visual clarity of a motion picture.

2. Yes...
...I read it several years ago and then would read it again every few years. :) However, I loaned the book to someone, never got it back and thus ended the "cycle" of re-reading. I actually think about that book quite often and perhaps need to look into getting another copy.
