Ohio Election Lawsuit to be Re-Opened to Protect 08 Election—Discovery to Include Karl Rove Emails
Ohio Attorney Files to Lift Stay on '04 Election Case, Cites Allegations, Evidence of Massive Fraud by a Number of GOP Operatives

"...At a press conference this morning in Columbus, Ohio, Cliff Arnebeck, lead attorney for the plaintiffs in the case of King Lincoln Bronzeville v. Blackwell, announced that he is filing a motion to "lift the stay in the case proceed with targeted discovery in order to help protect the integrity of the 2008 election."

Arnebeck will also "be providing copies of document hold notices to the U.S. Chamber Institute for Legal Reform and the U.S. Justice Department for Karl Rove emails from the White House."

" We anticipate Mr. Rove will be identified as having engaged in a corrupt, ongoing pattern of corrupt activities specifically affecting the situation here in Ohio."

This case has the potential to put some of the most powerful people in the country in jail, according to Arnebeck, as he was joined by a well-respected, life-long Republican computer security expert who charged that the red flags seen during Ohio's 2004 Presidential Election would have been cause for "a fraud investigation in a bank, but it doesn't when it comes to our vote."

One of the more delightful and interesting quotes comes from Arnebeck, concerning what he expects to discover as the stay is lifted: " We anticipate Mr. Rove will be identified as having engaged in a corrupt, ongoing pattern of corrupt activities specifically affecting the situation here in Ohio."

3. Arnebeck told Mukasey he wants to “assert an Ohio Corrupt Practices Act/RICO claim against Mr. Karl
and others based upon their activities in 2000 to illegally use corporate treasury money and government power to establish single faction dominance in the United States, military dominance in the world and generally undermine the rule of law as it had developed over the course of the past century."

Just like going after the mob. Lets hope Arnebeck has the fortitude to not buckle under pressure.

4. Maybe, there's still hope but not from any concerted help from our 'do nothing' Congress

7. Arnebeck
and not the institutional Democratic party. This is still the pattern of populist heroes, compliant, blind Dems and the chance of success relatively in peril compared to the continued growth of bully fraud and devices to help the GOP steal another one. This is like the professional army sitting on its hands while guerrilla bands alone are taking on the enemy. Still, after the lessons of eight years at least show ALL the needed avenues to pursue.

On the other hand I would like to see the blanket pardon that can include all those engaged in committing election fraud for the election of the pardoner. That would be, maybe, a wonderful exposition of the big picture to the American people.

8. Sounds like someone is losing a lawsuit.
Why did the settlement not happen?

Are the litigants wrong about their views of what happened. Are they getting desperate?
