Bush's magic wand
Where the hell does he come up with this stuff. I can't imagine any presidential advisor telling the president at any time in history. Why don't you tell them that you wish you had a magic wand that you could change things with. That's a really good answer there. Brilliant. That's true leadership right there! I know I feel all safe and secure hearing that from my president. :sarcasm:

4. The Simpleton-in-Chief...
Is a sociopath. Classic. Some narcissism, some classic authority issues, betrayal issues, "it's all about me!", deep need for unquestioning loyalty...just classic. Part of the problem with him is that those directly around him KNOW that he has these issues, and to keep their positions and their ideaology intact, in the face of epic fail, they prop up Simpleton's issues.

That "magic wand" thing is socio-speak for "I cannot be bothered", ergo, he sees it as beneath him and anathemic to his personal agenda to substantively address any issues before him. He has hit the point of just not caring, unless, of course, he can obstruct and confound and somewhow gain a "win".

The sad fact is that these days, when he "wins", the rest of the country measurably loses.

Right now, he is padding his resume and reputation so he can get a few board seats when he is out and make a bundle.
