Deaths: 280

Apparently, if this cancer isn't caught early, the treatment is amputation. This may explain why Guardisal may soon be offered to males as well as females.

3. From what I can gather, on a strict dollers and cents accounting, it's cheaper to

treat than to prevent the very few cases of penile cancer. My guess is the cost to treat a man for penile cancer is a small fraction of the cost of treating a woman for cervical cancer. Given the consequences to the individual though, vaccinating males is being given a second look.

as with all vaccines the point is going to be to come as close as possible to eliminating teh disease.
