wow..the Terminator vs. Big Oil????
Edited on Sun Jul-13-08 01:08 PM by RazBerryBeret
interesting story:

California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger said on ABC's "This Week" that he would be open to serving as Barack Obama's energy czar:

Asked about Obama, he said, "I take his call now, and I will take his call when he's president -- any time. Remember, no matter who is president, I don't see this as a political thing, I see this as we always have to help, no matter what the administration is."

3. Sadly, Arnold is less Republican than some of our Dems.
I hate hate hate to say he'd be a better choice than some of our D kin.

2. Arnold is from Austria....
...and Austrians prize their environment. After wandering around places like Innsbruck, Salzburg and the Arlberg this statement should come as no surprise.

7. Arnold is a through-and-throughout manipulator and dominator. He lives to win.
Do NOT allow him greater entry into US politics. He most fully represents the agenda of the neocons, although he might go totally selfish and discard them to fullfil his own agenda.

Beware of grinning wolves asking after work tending the sheep.

9. Obama's energy czar? WTF?
I seem to recall reading that one of the reasons for Gray Davis's "recall" and the installation of Ahnold as governor was to prevent Gray Davis from trying to recover the billions ripped off by Enron from the State of California.

Wasn't the recall campaign a Rovian dirty trick?

10. Exactly. Putting another fox in charge of the henhouse won't bring us any
"change". Al Gore would make an excellent energy czar; he stays up to date on every emerging technology and understands the environmental impacts of each.
