Because he dared to point out the obvious fact that Hillary was mathematically unable to claim the nomination some time around the Wisconsin primary.

These are also the same people who are complaining that the rest of us don't want to pay off Hillary's debt, which would have been considerably smaller, had she ended her campaign when it became impossible for her to win.
