George Bush and Dick Cheney have committed high crimes and misdemeanors, including misleading the nation into an aggressive war, spying in open violation of the law, and sanctioning the use of torture. A major new campaign of public protest, creative dissent, media activism, education, and coordinated lobbying has been launched to pursue accountability for these crimes through the Constitutional remedy of impeachment.

Lying, spying, and torture are a betrayal of our fundamental values of truth, freedom, and justice. Far from being a partisan political quest, impeachment is a self-evident moral imperative and any members of Congress who refuse to support impeachment will be considered complicit with these crimes.

A series of coordinated initiatives this spring will culminate in a nationwide day of protest for impeachment on April 28. We're looking for people to help organize rallies, marches, concerts, street theater, and more in towns and cities across America. If you'd like to help out, please click here. 1. This is the 20th annivesary of the assasination of Ben Linder in Nicaragua

The perfect day to highlight high crimes by the government. Viva Ben Linder!

Ben Linder, a Portland, Oregon, activist working to bring electricity to a village in rural Nicaragua, was shot in the head at close range in Nicaragua during the Iran-Contra affair. He was purposely assasinated, allegedly by the Contras who received the illegal financial support from Reagan and Bush.
