NYT: Howard Wolfson to join Fox News team.
I thought "silly season" had passed.

July 7, 2008, 10:21 pm
A Clintonian at Fox
By JIM RUTENBERG

Howard Wolfson, who was a top strategist for the presidential campaign of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, is going where some Democrats were unwilling to go during the early days of the election season: the Fox News Channel.

The network is expected to announce as early as Tuesday that it has signed Mr. Wolfson as a contributor who will appear regularly on its programs.

Mr. Wolfson is joining a network that Democrats shunned for a time, complaining that its coverage was unfair. But aides to Mrs. Clinton came to view Fox News as distinctly fair to her in a news media climate that they believed favored Senator Barack.

I am not terribly surprised by this, just disappointed.

Like there are no barriers anymore between one once honorable career and another.

Add Howard Wolfson to Karl Rove, right? That man ought to be in prison with his bosses, but no, he's delivering our news.

God help us all.

4. Any Clinton supporters that think this is on the up and up
should get hold of some old clips of O'Reilly Hannity et al tearing bill clinton a new one on a daily basis. And for crissakes Howard Wolfson, perhaps the most assholish of an assholish group of clinton advisors will not make a very good impression on most viewers. So if he comes on there and tries to tear Obama down, as I fully expect, he will not convince anybody.

I will never see him because I never watch any cable news or "news" excpet for Countdown. So they can have him on 24/7 as far as I'm concerned. In fact I hope they do.

10. They are ALL whores.. Doing whatever, for whomever will pay them

When someone "changes" their loyalties and core beliefs so easily, it only draws more attention to the fact that they have NO core beliefs, except for money..

Of course, guys of that age group, with families and no "real" steady jobs, probably also have no access to group medical insurance, so perhaps they are doing those jobs for the same reason a lot of US do it too.. Work a shity job, for a shitty boss, in order to have health care for the family..

8. I think Fox News is realizing that
They have to get ready for an Obama presidency.
And this smearing Obama has to be offset when they lose.

15. WRONG!
This is a last desperate attempt by Hillary and her minions to help assure an Obama defeat, and leave an opening for her-highness to run in 2012.

13. I'll always remember him from the 2005 CNN.com article where
it has clear that what he got out of 2004 is that swiftboating works - so we should do it. Even at that point he was at the moral level of Fox, just on the other side politically.

What is clear is that some political operatives could be equally at home on either side - and where they are is almost an accident of their political history.

14. Shows Where He Sees His Future
Wolfson has burned bridges all over the place in the past couple years. While others in the Clinton campaign are now finding spaces with Obama, Wolfson knows he's personna non gratis...thus he's gonna "show us". But then Rupert did like Hillary...so no surprise they are gonna throw money at Wolfson to play the "asshole Democrat". Good luck on him getting any high level job in the future...and he knows it.

16. With all the Hillbots joining Fox News.... did we dodge a bullet when Hilalry lost the Primaries?

I always thought that the Clintons were in bed with too many on the Right and was squeamish about what a Hillary presidency would be.....

... The fact that her minions have been migrating to Fox News the past couple months confirms my suspicions to me.
