You can still go green in Denver while you're at the DNC convention
There are tons of ways to get around. The mass transit (RTD) is quite good, albeit some have half-hour wait, some 15 minute wait. Also, the RTD has implemented TREX which was just completed two years ago and expanded a lot of light rail lines. Also, the downtown shuttle (16th St Mall) remains free and is hybrid electric-gas implemented many moons ago. Current fare is $1.75 and disabled (with Medicare ID) is 85 cents.

Just a helpful little tidbit if you're worried about travelling around, which you shouldn't be. Hell, there are buses that'll take you downtown from the airport...
