1000 points of fire. Central California to Oregan in flames
the region's key 4800 megavolt power line is threatened, and they have already cut the amount of energy going through it. According to local news radio, the powerlines were arcing with one another because of the smoke and flames.

Ahnold has asked for federal govt. assistance. fat chance he will get it, though.

3. It's a little better at my place today
I can actually see across the valley. Haven't been able to do that for a week. The sky is still grey though.
