A reassuring lie

3. Are humans too stupid to survive much longer? I really think they might be.

Homo-Sapiens might be smart but they are way, way too flawed.... emotionally & psychologically.

4. I'm thinking that when it gets past believing --

or wanting to believe -- the unrealistic promises, everyone will do what they have to to survive. It's going to be tough on us all, but tougher on those who have been believing the pipe dreams, and anticipating that we'll 'snap out of it' soon.

Sometimes I can't help but wonder if this, http://space.newscientist.com/article/dn11710 may be what the top 1% of the planet is looking for. Of course if they ever do find it and move, all the money they've accumulated won't do them much good...
