A cheap high.

A cheap high.

Alcohol can make you silly. Pot can make you relax. It's all good by me.... But does any of that compare to the amazing "high" you can get from the feeling of knowing that you are actually feeding a hungry child?

We're all trying to do good here - trying to make keep our government on the right track. It's hard work and it often feels like a losing battle, no matter how hard we try.

But there is something most of us can afford to do, that will have a direct and immediate positive affect on someone who needs help.

For only $22 per month, less than $1 per day, and just a fraction of the average "government stimulus check" you may have received, you can make a world of difference for a child who really needs help. You can even pick the child you want to help, and exchange photos and letters with him/her as they grow. A few months ago I wanted to do something like this and I checked out all the different orgs and came up with Children.Org. They don't force religion on the kids. They just feed and clothe them.

In a crazy mixed up world, when I often feel powerless, this is a cheap high. To know that a kid was hungry and now he has food, just because I filled out a form online and sent him my spare change. If I was rich, I'd probably O.D. on this.

So, pssst... Want a cheap high? This will really make you feel good. Come check out some of this stuff. Just $22 a bag!

1. Not a bad idea
But try starting at home. There are millions of starving kids here in the US, and probably not a few in everyone's neighborhood.

Food, clothing, toys, housing...it all helps.
