Rabid rightwinger claims that the Nobel Peace Prize is now useless since Gore won one
Nauseating Newsbit of the Day

Talk about taking the “worth” out of something. Coupled with the awarding of this paperweight to Jimmy Carter in 2002, if this indeed happens on Oct 12 and Gore is given this thing, the Nobel “Peace” Price will have officially jumped the shark as far as being anything worth anything. I’d rather get a half-price big burger meal deal at Burgers R Us then be associated with an award given to Carter or Gore.

Update: Its official. The Nobel Committee has officially jumped the shark. Totally. Completely. Utterly. Without question. This award has lost any and all legitimacy whatsoever with regards to going toward any “global” individual trying to advance the concept of world peace, whatever that is. Useless. Paperweight. I have a F-14 tailhook point that provides the same purpose and means a whole lot more. Can’t wait for lunch - Burgers R Us, here I come.

1. I could have said the same thing about their hero Henry Kissinger winning the Nobel Peace Prize.
The same goddamned thing. I thought they should have just retired the Peace Prize after that fucking travesty.

The person who owns/writes the linked blog is also a member here, but as far as I've seen, he sticks to the 9-11 forum.. just what we need huh? A rabid right-winger pushing repiglican propaganda in our forums..
