WJ this morning - Randy Forbes Energy Independence Plan
Poor Randy has conceded that Carter was right.
Not so poor Randy said if America doesn't become Energy Independent, our children and grandchildren will have to fight dictators - thanks for coming clean Randy. DUers knew the invasion of Iraq was about oil from day one.

The first caller tore him a new one re believing anything a Conservative Rethug says. That was as good as my coffee.

1. You Randy that future was so five years ago.
The mumble-fuck idiots on the right are increasingly devoid of anything resembling actual thinking skills.

3. I Guess He Inherited The Family "Dumb"
It's still amazing how many people will still believe these asshats know something about economics and finance just cause they inherited it.

I actually like Gramps idea for the $300 million for the ultimate spontaneous combustion machine...and how much ya wanna bet that the winner would be GM or Budweiser.

A long time ago I learned to bet against this regime when it comes to all things financial...you can't go wrong.

:hi:

4. One more moron
In other news I see that Frank Powers died in his sleep on the weekend. That's not good news for Rethugs.
<snip>
The death of Staten Island Republican Frank Powers, a retired Wall Street executive drafted by the party to run for the seat Rep. Vito Fossella is vacating, leaves the GOP once again scrambling for a candidate to defend the last red congressional seat in New York City.

Powers had entered the race late—after a number of elected officials declined to run. He was a Metropolitan Transportation Authority board member and regular Republican contributor.

5. Wasn't He The One Whose Kid Was Going To Run Against Him?
Seems like the RNCC has to run a bail bond service these days

I'm surprised Susan Molinari isn't running for her old seat (or daddy's)...maybe the people on Staten Island will finally join the rest of New York and kick out the GOOP.

7. Here's Junior Powers...

http://www.silive.com/news/index.ssf/2008/06/the_son_also_rises_for_congres.html

An already topsy-turvy political year grew even more so today when Francis M. Powers, the son of GOP designee Francis H. Powers, said he would seek the Libertarian Party line to run for the 13th Congressional District seat.

"This is not about my dad," said the younger Powers, 47, a master carpenter from Clifton who plays and sings with the Staten Island band Box of Crayons and runs an indie record label called Penny for the Guy Records. "I'm running against the Republican candidate."

I'll bet family get-togethers had to be quite the affair.
