11. At this point, if I were James Baker, standing onshore, and aWol was being eaten by alligators two
feet away, I would throw him a big rock.

3. Bipartisanship my ass
Get to the truth. Dole will just play interference for bush. There is no value in bipartisanship.

4. Donna Shalala is an excellent choice
and good for the soldiers. She's smart and tough, and unless she has changed dramatically, she won't cowtow to the repugs--especially *.

8. I just heard Sam Seder say he interviewed her, & she thought FEMA
did a heckuva job. This is a whitewaSH More imperial contrrol of the issues from the WH. WE need an independent NON PRESIDENTIAL commission--he shouldn't be allowed to investigate himself--again! Remember how all his other "investigations" turned out? It's just a way tp control the news.

5. Bob Dole's Report:
I expect Dole's report to go something like this:

These troops at Walter Reed are, you know, good guys, good friends. I respect their record. But three Purple Hearts and never bled that I know of. I mean, they’re all superficial wounds. Three Purple Hearts and you’re out. Perhaps they should apologize to the American people.

10. When he was campaigning for prez he struck me as having NO strength of character at all...
an outer skin of Political Figure inflated with hot air, and not even expecting to be taken seriously, just going through the motions. (So he would be ideal for Bu$hCo's purposes i.e. "Stage the appearance of carrying out an investigation while actually doing nothing.")

Liddy Dole was quoted somewhere saying, "Viagra is a wonderful drug."
Made me wonder who she'd been dating.
And you thought you were being bad.....

12. Remember the Name: Spc. Alexis Soto-Ramirez
Why the hell did they wait til NOW to check these events out..........
They knew in 2005.......this is the way the GOP treated our soldiers

February 18, 2005 | Before he hanged himself with his bathrobe sash in the psychiatric ward at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Spc. Alexis Soto-Ramirez complained to friends about his medical treatment. Soto-Ramirez, 43, had been flown out of Iraq five months before then because of chronic back pain that became excruciating during the war. But doctors were really worried about his mind. They thought he suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder after serving with the 544th Military Police Company, a unit of the Puerto Rico National Guard, the kind of unit that saw dirty, face-to-face combat in Iraq.

3 pages in this article filled with stories from the vets at Walter Reed with problems......
