My home owner's policy is up for renewal in a few weeks, so I'm going to be asking our agent some questions. I've carried earthquake insurance for 20 years here in Upstate New York. Maybe it's time to add coverage for some other possibilities. I think we're 100 feet above the Oswego River, but that doesn't preclude getting so much rain that the ground floods because the water can't drain fast enough.
