Fascinating weather front up here in Maine.
I just watched the wierdest weather front come in. I noticed this low front moving in quite rapidly (I'm located on high ground that gives me 50 mile views to the South/West. There were literally 100's of crows trying to outrun this. It just hit...like a wall of snow, heavy winds, and 3 foot visability. Anyone caught driving in this is in big trouble. I've seen rain move in like this, but never snow. Folks in Bangor...watch out!

1. It was a little wierd here in Mass too
I went out to my car at work for a moment and no snow. 5 minutes later my boss comes to my desk and says it was starting to snow really hard and maybe I should cut out early. It was white out conditions, heavy wind, then 10 minutes later....no snow again.

I swear this is the strangest winter I can remember.

Low of 8 tonight, will probably set records. 20 -30 mph winds , white out snow squalls. Damn , I hate it more every year!:banghead:

5. Hardest snow I've ever seen...
...arouns 2:00 PM local, at probably a 4-inch-an-hour clip, and as dark as it was at 5 this AM -- for all of ten minutes, then full sun.
