Cheney Issues Correction on China Oil Drilling

A new talking point going around the paleosphere is that we should drill off our coasts because China is drilling 60 miles off of Florida. Apparently Cheney originally said this, and it's been picked up by Cramer and others.

The truth is, Cuba is drilling off their own shores in cooperation with China, which obviously they have every right to do.

Cheney's office had to issue a correction.

Ignorant people who can't figure out that there is drilling 60 miles from Florida because it's in water that is designated to another country. I can just hear it now, the lefties want to give all the oil to Cuba and China. :crazy:
