Bummed because you can't go to DC for the 'March March'?
Here is my advice. Take a little time and energy this week and organize a hometown vigil to mirror the DC events. With a little effort we have put together these events that will draw the interest of the local crowds. We plan to pass out information such as how to contact Senators and where one can go to send supplies to troops in need. Yes, we will be standing around on the corner drawing honks and waves but the message will go farther than that. We hope to give others the tools to help get the job done. Here is what we have planned.

The Granville peace community will be hosting two events on March 16th and 17th. Opera House Park in downtown Granville will be the setting for Peace Vigils that will mirror national events in Washington, DC on those dates. Please join us in working toward peace.

Evening Prayer Peace Vigil
Friday, March 16
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
This will be a candlelight vigil. Everyone is welcome. Bring a candle and dress for the weather.

Peace Vigil
Saturday, March 17
11:00 AM –1:00 PM
This marks the 4th Anniversary of the start of the Iraq war. We plan to honor the Ohio soldiers who have died in the Iraq war by reading their names and constructing a display in their memory. Individuals may bring readings, pictures and memories to share.

In addition to these two special events the Granville peace community hosts regular Peace Vigils at the Opera House Park on Saturdays from 11:00 AM- Noon and Tuesday evenings from 5:00 –6:00 PM. We look forward to making a stand for peace with you.

**Opera House Park is located at the intersection of Main St. and Broadway in the village of Granville,Ohio. From Interstate 70 take St. Rt. 37 North. Route 37 turns into Main Street. The park is on the east side of the street at the first stoplight inside the village limits.

2. Thanks for that.
I had checked the A.N.S.W.E.R. site but didn't see a place to post other events. Things are pretty slow in Ohio right now. Columbus should be on board but I haven't seen anything. That is why we have gone ahead and made our own plans. Thanks to you we are up on UFP now! Peace, Kim
