This nation is the ultimate contradiction,...of every term it espouses.

The first term that comes to mind is "FREEDOM". Few American citizens actually feel "free". Most feel heavily burdened with the obligation to be strong and survive, showing love/loyalty to those closest to themselves. That burden is NOT bad,...but, what "freedom" involves mere survival? HOW do you cope with the persistent propaganda of a "freedom" you supposedly own to advance your life and the lives around you when real life in the U.S.A. presents so many barriers to the opportunity to be free?

Living in a state of oppression...is not "freedom", whether that state be financial or intellectual or otherwise. Human nature seeks relief from conflict,...even if completely irrational. All dictators know this.

All human beings need a sense of security and will turn to ANY channel towards that sense.

Some people will choose a channel that encompasses ALL HUMANITY. Others will choose a channel that is most familiar with their immediate lives.

I figure,...the right-wing has focused its attention on all those who channel what's most familiar to their immediate lives. The fear-mongering advances the right-wing, the dictators' cause,...as has been shown throughout human history. It's evil.

It's evil to manipulate others' suffering/confusion/struggle. There is quite a bit of "EVIL" shit happening in this world, these days.

Let's avoid getting caught up in it. Let's assure people they can live according to their own will, each day but no one dictates anyone's lives. Our peace is assured by living in accordance with just laws allowing privacy and requiring common respect.
