America permanently at peace with the rest of the world: foreseeable result of a McCain presidency?

2. America qualifies for foreign aid from Europe, Japan, etc.

3. Politically well-connected people in America will no longer be motivated to launch wars as a way to get money. They will be able to simply divert the foreign aid money coming into America to their own bank accounts.

1. America would be at peace with the world but would be raging a new Civil War back home.

If the US Dollar completely collapses under the weight of borrowing provoking a hyperinflationary depression, there will be conflicts over resources like water and farm land and food.

A good example is to witness the conflict between states like Georgia and Tennessee over water. There is a river just across the border in Tennessee that Georgia feels should belong to Georgia. With the drought, there has been a push to get the gov't to declare that river a piece of Georgian soil. Tennessee is naturally opposed.
